How we serve!

I woke up today thinking about how I've missed our life group for the last three weeks. But then I realized while I was missing, I was serving in a bigger capacity. The people that I work for, need me on a daily basis and they have spent their entire lives serving others. It's time someone gave back. I thought to myself. Don't be the Christian that's so busy serving God that you lose your relationship with him. Serving 50 different spots at church doesn't make someone close to the Lord. Also, always take time out to know what's going on in other's lives because that's what were all here for. YOUR agenda is not important. We tend to get lost in the day to day, while someone else is struggling. I pray God helps me to continue serving others and not myself. I literally think I would go to work for free! I see how much these older people need me and realize were all in it together! Were all links in the chain. I pray that everyday I wake up, I'm thinking about what I can do to serve the Lord by helping others and to make a difference in someone's life!
